The Western Australian Museum – Kalgoorlie-Boulder is bringing the beach and a special guest to the Goldfields next weekend.

Santa will pay a special visit to the Western Australian Museum – Kalgoorlie-Boulder during its Open Day this week.

Children will have the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Santa, as well as participate in free activities on St Barbara’s Day, Saturday 6 December.

This WA Day public holiday, the WA Museum is inviting all Western Australians to contribute to the New Museum project by sharing their thoughts on what it means to be Western Australian.

The Western Australian Maritime Museum will celebrate its 10th birthday on Saturday December 1 with an open day.

Museum entry will be by gold-coin donation, with free kids activities on offer and a program of short talks by Museum curators through-out the day.
