Frequently asked questions
The Super Fan and Friend Membership options provide access to all WA Museum locations.
The individual site-based Fan Membership, for both WA Maritime Museum and WA Museum Boola Bardip, provide access to their own respective sites only.
General admission entry is free at WA Shipwrecks Museum (Fremantle), Museum of Geraldton, Museum of the Goldfields (Kalgoorlie), and Museum of the Great Southern (Albany).
Yes! You can upgrade your Boola Bardip or Maritime Museum Fan membership to a Super Fan or Friend membership; or your Super Fan membership to a Friend membership by paying the difference online or in person. The upgrade will be valid for the remainder of your existing membership period.
Alternatively, if you wish to purchase a new membership at a higher level that will be valid for one year from date of purchase, you must request this by contacting membership@museum.wa.gov.au. Your existing membership will be cancelled with no refund or credit available for the remaining unused period of the cancelled membership.
All members will be provided with a digital membership card that is stored on your phone for convenience and environmental sustainability. You can request a physical card by emailing membership@museum.wa.gov.au . Once ready, the card can be collected from your nominated WA Museum site.
