Discover tomorrow's storytellers with Yirra Yaakin

Join Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company for two powerful days of play readings that celebrate fresh voices and bold stories from emerging Aboriginal playwrights in Western Australia.

Experience the creative energy of the Yirra Yaarnz Writers’ Group, an intensive program nurturing the next wave of Aboriginal talent. Guided by award-winning playwrights Polly Low and Hellie Turner, this presentation highlights the cultural significance of storytelling within Aboriginal culture.
