Learn industry techniques in this full mount raven three-day workshop.

Under the expert guidance of Teori Shannon, this workshop focuses on the process of preserving and mounting a bird. Scientific techniques covered include skinning, defleshing, skin preservation, binding artificial body form making and natural positioning.



Whether you are a seasoned artist or curious beginner, this workshop is designed to inspire and challenge you as you work with high-quality materials and learn from an expert in the field to gain the skills and knowledge to create your own taxidermy raven to take home. 


Participants are encouraged to bring along a pencil/pen and a notepad. 

Students are welcome to bring along their own ethically sourced avian specimen (1 month prior notification required)

Please note: All materials are ethically sourced where possible. Chemicals used include borax, acetone and formalin.
