Boola Bardip Familiarisation (where do I start?)
Dates
3.45pm – 6pm | 4pm start
2025
Term 1: Tuesday 18 March
Term 2: Tuesday 27 May
Term 3: Wednesday 20 August
Term 4: Tuesday 4 November
Not sure where to start? Join us once a term for our orientation day and become more confident and connected with the Museum.
We will step you through Boola Bardip's educational programs and take you on a tour through the Museum, providing practical information so you can maximise your school visit.
This Professional Learning provides an opportunity for educators to explore the WA Museum Boola Bardip and develop an understanding of gallery themes, perspectives, and content.
Participants will investigate the Museum galleries and explore how to leverage the Museum’s collections to create meaningful learning experiences for students and develop their knowledge of object-based learning.
Suitable for teachers of all year groups planning a visit to the Museum and is particularly helpful for pre-service teachers.
Participant Feedback
"Great overview and introduction to the Museum.”
"It was great to have an overview of the different programs and self-guided tours. Having a walk through the galleries was interesting too."
"It was really valuable to be able to go into the galleries after hours, it helps you to appreciate and understand what each gallery is trying to do on a more personal level you want to share."
