Join artist Ian Daniell, renowned for his life-size ocean art, on a special journey through the aquatic displays at Boola Bardip. This art workshop for children of all ages invites you to discover the colourful creatures, fantastical forms, and eye-popping patterns of our oceans. Get creative as Ian guides you in sketching, drawing, and painting your very own marine art masterpiece.
While the paint dries, see if you can count how many tiny crustaceans make up Ian’s 2022 work 'Krill,' displayed alongside Otto the Blue Whale in the WA Treasures Gallery.
This workshop is suitable for all ages, and parents must remain during the session.
