Discover the art of Ancient China through your own hands

This school holidays, dive into a hands-on workshop inspired by the Terracotta Warriors: Legend of the First Emperor exhibition. Explore the beauty and symbolism of traditional Chinese screen printing, and create your own meaningful artwork.

Choose from a range of Chinese-inspired stencils and bring your designs to life using screen-printing techniques.

What to expect:

  • Learn basics of stencil cutting and screen-printing
  • Create two unique, Chinese-inspired prints to take home
  • Explore the Museum's galleries and the interactive Ancient China Activation Zone

This workshop is perfect for curious minds who love mixing creativity with cultural discovery. Whether you're an art lover, history buff or just looking for something new, come and make something meaningful.

Please note this workshop does not include entry to the Terracotta Warriors: Legacy of the First Emperor exhibition.

Drop and Leave Holiday Programs

Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
