See through the lens of the children from our WA regional communities, as we showcase the winners from the 10th annual School of the Air photo competition.

Each year, Rangelands Natural Resource Management (NRM) runs an annual photo competition for the kids who attend School of the Air (SOTA) in Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra, Carnarvon, Port Hedland and the Kimberley.

Now in its tenth year, the annual competition engages with children and their families living in the outback of WA. It aims to raise awareness of natural resource management and further involve our next generation of land managers in having pride in our rangeland’s landscapes and our regional communities.

This year’s theme is ‘This is how I look after my outback country’.

The competition awards prizes for the age groups Lower Primary (Kindy, Pre-Primary, Years 1 and 2), Middle Primary (Years 3, 4 and 5) and Upper Primary (Years 6 and 7).

Visit the Old Gaol exhibition space as we display this year’s incredible winners.
