Take time, connect, and commemorate Remembrance Day during Seniors Week at Boola Bardip.

Share your thoughts on objects, meditate under Otto the Blue Whale, or take a moment to commemorate Remembrance Day with poppy making for the family and collection highlights at Boola Bardip.

Focus on an Object

Monday 8 November – Friday 12 November | 10am – 1pm

Explore a new gallery every day and learn about new objects along the way. Every object has a story, and your interpretation of this story is important. Share your thoughts about how it makes you feel, why it intrigues you and explore your ideas with others.  

Location: A different gallery each day, ask at the Information Desk on the day. 

 


Remembrance Day 

Thursday 11 November | 9.30am – 3.30pm

Join us in a minute silence, poppy making and book into a Remembrance Day Tour or visit the galleries to view stories and significant 'Objects of Remembrance'.

Happiness to Go – Meditation for Seniors 

Monday 8 November | 12.15pm – 12.45pm 

Discover practical, transformative meditations that protect against stress, anxiety and mental pain. Learn to create your own happiness from within and then carry it with you into the rest of your week.
