Kick off the new school year with an inspiring educator showcase
Join us for a free networking event designed especially for teachers, as we explore the exhibition From Nonna With Love: Stories of Tradition and Triumph.
We’re proud to partner with the Consulate of Italy in Perth, the Dante Alighieri Society of WA, and the WA Association for Teachers of Italian (WAATI) to bring you an engaging evening focused on Italian language and cultural learning.
Discover the stories of remarkable Nonnas featured in this heartwarming exhibition. From Nonna With Love offers a unique way to help students understand the challenges and triumphs of migration, and the resilience of those who built new lives in Western Australia.
Through first-hand accounts, students can explore themes of family, culture, and identity—learning how these women shaped their communities through hard work, traditions, and love.
At this showcase, you will:
- See how the exhibition aligns with curriculum priorities.
- Learn about self-guided and facilitated visit options.
- Access resources to inspire your students and enrich classroom learning.
Dates for Term 1, 2026 are now available, don’t miss this opportunity to connect and plan ahead!
