Dates
Tuesday 3 February 2026 | 4pm - 5.30pm
Join us for an exclusive educator preview of our new program designed for Year 5 learners. The program explores the early encounters between Aboriginal Traditional Owners and colonial settlers during the formative years of the Swan River Colony.
Strangers on the Shore invites students to engage with critical questions about settlement and colonial history. They will examine the challenges faced by European arrivals as they adapted to the unique conditions of Western Australia. Through interactive learning activities and hands-on experiences, this program helps students build a deeper understanding of these pivotal moments. It also supports progress toward key curriculum outcomes related to the Swan River Colony.
