Get ready for lift-off these school holidays at the Museum of the Goldfields!

This July, the Museum of the Goldfields is launching into an out-of-this world adventure with activities for the whole family!    

These school holidays, Deadly Universe: Connecting Culture and Space invites young explorers to discover how culture, astronomy and the cosmos are woven together and connect Country across time.    

Blast off on a playful galactic journey with the Museum’s epic Planet Space Trail, featuring a range of interactive activity stations. From designing your own NASA-style helicopter to striking a pose in the Space Explorers Photo Booth, there is a stellar lineup of activities to keep you engaged these school holidays.  

Deadly Universe also shines a starry light on the deep connection between constellations and Country. As these school holidays align with NAIDOC Week, the Museum invites visitors to explore and better understand the Aboriginal stories and symbols behind our bright night sky.  

There’s a whole universe to explore, create and play in at the Museum of the Goldfields this winter, with a lineup of activities to keep you entertained all break long!
