Sing, create, and discover the magic of Aliwah Bardinar! (Look out Rosella!)
In partnership with the 2024 AWESOME Festival, join Gina Williams, Guy Ghouse and the talented Breaksea artists for Aliwah Bardinar! (Look out Rosella!) for a captivating performance bringing storytelling to life through song. Led by award-winning Noongar singer Gina Williams and guitarist Guy Ghouse, this will be an experience not to be missed!
More than just a concert, you can be part of the creative process in an exciting series of workshops and performances, where you'll help shape the designs for Breaksea's upcoming professional show.
Visual Art Making Workshop
Join artist Rae Cottam and theatre designer Fiona Bruce as you explore visual art and design! You'll get hands-on experience creating art and brainstorming design ideas, all inspired by the Western Australian animals and plants from the Aliwah Bardinar! story.
Your amazing creations will help shape the designs for Breaksea's upcoming show, Aliwah Bardinar!
Workshop participants will join Gina and Guy, for the Aliwah Bardinar! concert where the artworks they’ve created in the workshop will be on display.

Singing Performance and Workshop
Jarrad Inman and Pia Harris will have you singing in many octaves in this interactive workshop. Using singing and music to tell stories and express feelings, you'll even get to learn some of the songs from Aliwah Bardinar! by Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse.
After the workshop, join us for the big concert where you’ll get to sing along with Gina and Guy and help bring the stories from Aliwah Bardinar! to life

Concert Performance
Hear the nyttiny (creation) story of how the Bardinar (Wetsern Rosella) got it's colours. Featuring cheeky frogs, elegant swans, and the beauty of the Noongar Language, come along and be a part of the storytelling journey.
Performed by Gina Williams, Guy Ghouse and all of the workshop participants.
