Come and celebrate Book Week with us at the Museum!

This Book Week, we’re bringing some of the CBCA Book of the Year shortlisted picture books into the Museum for a series of special Storytimes.

As we read, little ones will feel the story brought to life with our hands-on touch boxes – featuring real and replica items from the Museum collection – and explore the galleries around them, meeting the ideas they've just met on the page.

Once the story is finished, there'll be a creative activity to keep the fun going.

Designed for children aged 2–5 years and their families, these special sessions celebrate storytelling, creativity and the joy of discovering the Museum together.

No bookings are required, simply drop in and join us for a different adventure each day.
