Join our volunteers and staff as they dive into a world of wonder with playful storytelling designed especially for curious minds aged 0–5.

Through gentle tales of friendly sea creatures, shimmering waves, and underwater adventures, children are invited to imagine, explore and connect with the magical world beneath the surface. Each session blends a welcoming atmosphere with storytelling and touch boxes for sensory play, helping little ones build early literacy skills while nurturing their sense of wonder for our oceans.

Inspired by our name, Boola Bardip - meaning ‘many stories’ in Whadjuk Nyoongar, the Country on which the Museum stands — this experience celebrates the richness of storytelling and the power of shared moments.

Perfect for toddlers, preschoolers and their grown‑ups, this joyful program encourages creativity, connection and care for the natural world — one splashy story at a time.
