Join us for a night of Aboriginal storytelling as we present a special screening ofThe Darkside (2013), directed by award-winning filmmaker Warwick Thornton.

Experience powerful campfire tales and explore over 90 stunning artworks in Spinifex People: Art and stories from Pila Nguru, which celebrates the Spinifex People's deep connection to Country. This exhibition beautifully complements The Darkside, weaving together Aboriginal stories and cultural ties to the land while reflecting the spiritual beliefs that shape their lives.

Light food and drinks are available for purchase. BYO snacks permitted.


Movie Screening: The Darkside

A collection of thirteen crowdsourced ghost stories from all across Australia was brought to life by iconic actors Deborah Mailman, Aaron Pedersen, Sacha Horler, Claudia Karvan, Bryan Brown, and Jack Charles. Directed by Warwick Thornton, The Darkside explores the art of storytelling, encounters with the supernatural and our deep connection to ancestral generations.
