Dante was a visionary for a time of crisis. The further away we get from his time – he lived three centuries before Shakespeare – the more relevant he becomes. Join us for this illustrated lecture and Q&A with John Kinder, internationally recognised linguist, professor and author, and Knight Commander of the Star of Italy.
The University of Western Australia's Concordia Vocalis will add their voices to the evening, with live music related to Dante's journey.
Hosted by Robyn Johnston, the evening also features readings from Inferno, the first book of the Divine Comedy.
Location: Stan Perron WA Treasures exhibition, Hackett Hall
If you register for a tour, program or an event, general entry is included in your booking.
