Join us at the WA Museum Boola Bardip as we celebrate NAIDOC Week 2021 around this year's theme, Heal Country!

Country is more than a place, it is inherit in our identity. We invite people to come and embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural knowledge and understanding of Country.

Throughout the week, you will have the opportunity to participate in our fun arts and crafts activities that explore Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

During these activities, participants will:

  • Learn about NAIDOC Week and what it means.
  • Learn about the significance of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flag.
  • Have the opportunity to get involved in arts and crafts including colouring in, making friendship bracelets and more.
  • Learn some Nyoongar words by making chatter boxes using Nyoongar language.
  • Learn about the Nyoongar six seasons with our Nyoongar six season sensory boxes for the young ones.
