Come and investigate the sounds of Boola Bardip and use them to tell a unique story.

With recording devices in hand, capture the intricate symphony of everyday sounds—from the rustle of leaves to the whispers of ancient artefacts. Led by local musician Felicity Groom, you will blend these captured sounds into an ambient musical masterpiece to tell a captivating story.

Join us for a unique adventure that fosters creativity, sharpens technical skills and cultivates an appreciation for the art of storytelling and sound design. Tune your ear to explore another dimension of the Museum!

During this workshop, you will:

  • Explore various music genres
  • Record and sample sounds throughout the museum using GarageBand
  • Create a musical composition that tells a compelling story
  • Design artwork to promote your musical masterpiece

*All required technical equipment will be provided; however, please bring a 4GB USB to download and take your creation home.
