Let music lift you up in this exclusive behind the scenes event at WA Museum Boola Bardip.

You'll be transported through the levels of the Museum in one of the biggest elevators in the Southern Hemisphere, with a different experience at each stop. 

Each week favourite Perth musicians and performers will share a curated soundtrack, performing an intimate gig both in the elevator and in gallery. Enjoy a combination of intimate acoustic sets and awe-inspiring audio.

MEET THE ARTISTS

Jamilla Artist Image

Jamilla 

An award winning electronic producer, DJ and artist, Jamilla combines haunting soul vocals, self-produced R&B beats and chill-wave synths to create beautiful and seamless nu-soul music. With an intense and captivating stage presence, and emotive and politically charged lyrics, Jamilla expresses her appreciation for human vulnerability and invites you to experience hers.

 

South Summit Band

South Summit

Newly formed in early 2020 and taking the WA music scene by storm; Josh (an Indigenous Australian from the Kamillaroi-Yuin people in NSW), Zaya & Nemo (from Erub Island in the Torres Straights), along with their mates Nathan and Fynn produce an incredible indie/reggae vibe way beyond their years.

This amazing quartet is made up of Perth drag artists Skye Scraper, Moxie Heart, Rhonda Civic and Miss Cara. After competing as rivals in the Pop Royalty Drag Competition, they came together with the desire to share Perth's drag scene with audiences of all ages and walks of life. Strap in for an incredible teaser show from Perth's Queens of Camp. 

 

Kate Pass Band Group Image

Kate Pass and the Kohesia Ensemble

Led by award-winning bassist Kate Pass and featuring some of Perth’s best musicians, this eight-piece band combines the sounds of Persian ney, saz and oud with jazz instruments for a truly unique listening experience.  They will be performing a confluence of deeply textured original music and improvisation for you.

 

Dulcie

Dulcie

This three-piece indie-pop act from Perth have played major festivals Groovin The Moo & Laneway.  The band have supported the likes of G-Flip, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, & Odette and are set to head out on an arena tour with Ocean Alley in February.
