Join us at the WA Museum Boola Bardip as we celebrate NAIDOC Week 2021 around this year's theme, Heal Country!

Join proud Mirning/Kokatha woman, Debra Haseldine, WA Museum's Assistant Curator Anthropology and Archaeology, and create your own gumnut bush animal while learning about the different animals that live on Nyoongar boodja (Country).

Participants will:

  • Learn about NAIDOC Week and why it's important.
  • Learn about the local animals that live on Nyoongar boodja through a hands on experience.
  • Have the opportunity to create your own gumnut bush animal baby and take it home.

This is a family friendly event – we encourage parents to create with your child, and enjoy the experience!
