Enjoy Nyoongar Story Time with Cultural Educator Rickeeta Walley this NAIDOC Week.  

Spend a special session with Rickeeta, learning Nyoongar stories, dance, song and language to celebrate NAIDOC 2025 in our Ngalang Koort Boodja Wirn gallery.

Story Time will take place throughout the day in 30-minute sessions, beginning at the following times:

  • 12.00pm

About Rickeeta Walley

Rickeeta is a proud Nyoongar woman, living and working on Whadjuk country.  She works within her family business, Aboriginal Productions & Promotions, as a Cultural Educator and Researcher delivering cultural programs, workshops, and professional development training.  She also holds roles with Kings Park Education and the University of Western Australia.  

She is passionate about cultural knowledge and language preservation. She believes it is Aboriginal people's right to hold their knowledge, and everyone's responsibility to learn, engage with and understand the ancient culture and country that we live on.
