Patagotitan mayorum was a gigantic sauropod dinosaur that lived in the Chubut Province of Argentina during the Early Cretaceous period, about 102 million years ago.

Patagotitan was a member of the Titanosaur group; this was a diverse assortment of sauropods that evolved during the Early Cretaceous period and survived until the end of the Cretaceous, 66 million years ago.

Patagotitan was one of the largest Titanosaurs. It is estimated to have measured 31 to 37 metres long; this is longer than the Blue Whale.
