Dive into creativity with artist Ian Daniell
Join us for a hands-on ocean adventure where children of all ages can explore the wonders of the underwater world through art.
Renowned for his life-size ocean paintings, Ian invites young creatives to take part in a vibrant drop-in workshop. Each child will paint their own unique marine creature on a large, shared canvas - helping to bring a colourful reef to life, one brushstroke at a time.
While your artwork dries, wander into the WA Treasures Gallery in Hackett Hall to discover Krill — Ian’s extraordinary 2022 piece made up of countless tiny crustaceans. See if you can spot them all, right under Otto the Blue Whale!
This activity is suitable for all ages. Parents and guardians must stay with children during the session.
