An exhibition connecting the peoples of the Commonwealth.

In 2011, Western Australia hosted a meeting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM). Renowned photographer and creator of the Nomad Two Worlds project, Russell James, was approached to create an exhibition to mark this significant gathering.

The exhibition included 53 original portraits, representing every country in the Commonwealth. Each portrait was then embellished with a design by an Aboriginal artist, in a layering of stories between communities and cultures.

Artworks donated in 2022 by the Forrest Family, with associated digital archive donated by the Nomad Two Worlds Art Foundation.
