Come and share your thoughts on what reconciliation means to you, and watch as collective actions allow our Tree of Reconciliation to grow.
As part of our National Reconciliation Week activities, we invite you to contribute to the Tree of Reconciliation.
Share your thoughts about what the week means to you or what actions you will take to advance the journey of reconciliation. Visit the Ngalang Koort Boodja Wirn gallery during National Reconciliation Week, write down your actions and aspirations for reconciliation on a paper leaf and add it to the Tree.
As each leaf is added to the tree, witness our collective impact on social media through our WA Museum Boola Bardip Facebook page. Together, we can nurture a culture of understanding and respect.
We can each take tangible actions towards an equitable future in our everyday lives - where we live, work and socialise.
National Reconciliation Week
We are strengthening and creating positive relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Aboriginal peoples for the benefit of all Australians.
The 2024 National Reconciliation Week theme is, Now More Than Ever.
Now, more than ever, the pursuit of justice and rights for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will continue. It is a reminder not to give up when things are tough.
