Due to popular demand, Dr Moya Smith will repeat her recent public lecture in Geraldton in which she unpacks a common question that visitors ask when they explore Museum exhibitions about Ancient Egypt: “Is it real?”.
Moya will discuss objects from the WA Museum’s collection currently on display in Geraldton, including the infamous ‘cat mummy’. Drawing on her extensive experience, she will reveal fascinating insights into authenticity, belief and how museum collections shape our understanding of the past.
