As part of the Iwarra Wilungga Festival of Aboriginal Art and Culture, the Midwest community submitted photographs that encapsulate ‘Best Moments on Country’. These photos are now featured in this colourful exhibition of celebration.
The festival’s name, Iwarra Wilungga, meaning ‘Spring by the Sea’, holds the memory of the first event that was introduced in the springtime of October 2022. This year, however, we acknowledge with respect that we will be celebrating during the season of ‘Urnura’, Autumn.
