Join former brand manager Paul O’Connor and curator Monika Durrer as they take you through the Museum of Geraldton’s latest exhibition about Aurelio Costarella, one of Western Australia’s most prominent fashion designers.
The Costarella: Fashioning a Legacy exhibition features some of Costarella’s most recognized designs and shares stories about his successes, struggles and creative evolution.
Monika Durrer is a History Curator at the WA Museum. She has a keen interest in textile collections and has spent the past year working on Costarella: Fashioning a Legacy.
Paul O’Connor has followed many creative paths – lecturer, creative director, brand manager, editor, visual merchandiser, stylist, curator, and artist. As a strong advocate for the arts, culture, and fashion industry in Perth, he has played a key role in developing the identity of several iconic Western Australian brands, including Aurelio Costarella.
