We are stepping outdoors these school holidays with a pop-up on the Geraldton foreshore!

The WA Museum in a Container will be on the Geraldton foreshore with a curated exhibition exploring Australia's fascinating history of camels. From their legacy as tireless working animals building up country towns to their status as invasive animals of national concern, their incredible adaptation to Australia’s outback has changed the country's landscape forever.

Working Camels: The life-size board game

Race against your competition to roll the giant die and build the famous Goldfields pipeline in this giant, snakes-and-ladders style board game. Like the working camels of years past, you must deliver supplies and reach Kalgoorlie… but watch out for the mineshafts! Fun for the whole family.

Participants aged 12 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
