Join us for a special screening of Murla-na Bula Wula Bulangu as we reflect during National Reconciliation Week.

The short film 'Murla-na Bula Wula Bulangu' marked the 170th anniversary of the 1854 massacre at Pelican Springs on Naaguja/Yamaji Country in the Mid West region of Western Australia.

On 6 June 2024, a healing ceremony was held at what is known as ‘Bootenal Springs’ on the Greenough River, south of Geraldton. At the ceremony, Naaguja descendants of the victims invited descendants of the colonising perpetrators to come together to perform a ceremony at the site of the atrocities. It was an opportunity for healing and truth-telling.
