Did you know – Australia’s famous ‘green and gold’ colour combo is derived from Australia’s floral emblem, the golden wattle?
Aboriginal peoples have used this plant for food, medicine, and weapons for thousands of years. Pull up a chair and craft a plush pompom version of this special flower these school holidays.
$2 craft table activity, available during Museum opening hours 9:30am to 3:00pm.
