This 4 November, join in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of Paddy Hannan.

Patrick ‘Paddy’ Hannan was an Irish-born prospector commonly credited with first discovering gold at Kalgoorlie.

The morning will begin with a memorial gathering at Paddy Hannan’s Tree, followed by morning tea at the Museum of the Goldfields, where visitors can view personal items once owned by Paddy including his walking stick.

Together, we reflect on the legacy of this remarkable prospector and the enduring history that continues to shape our region.
