Celebrate Harmony Week at the Museum of the Goldfields!
Harmony Week is a time to recognise and celebrate our diversity, bringing together Australians from all backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Show your support by wearing orange and join us for a week of activities celebrating multiculturalism.
What's On?
Tuesday 17 March - Thursday 19 March | 10am - 3pm
- Map of the world: Place a pin on the world map for where you are from or where your family’s origins are and celebrate the diverse backgrounds that make up our community.
- Paper chain making: Decorate and cut out a paper chain of people holding hands to celebrate Harmony Week.
- Community weaving project: Add a length of yarn to our community weaving artwork, which will be on display at the Harmony Week Fair on 20 - 21 March.
Tuesday 17 March | 5.30pm - 8pm
- Night of storytelling: Take part in hearing from our three guest speakers who will share personal and cultural stories, complemented by live music performances and a selection of canapés and refreshments provided.
Come along and discover the many cultures and stories linked to our gallery exhibits!
