The Museum of the Great Southern is proud to support 16 Days in WA, running from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day).
This important campaign reminds us that everyone has a role to play in ending family and domestic violence.
This year, we’re helping create change through meaningful events that promote advocacy and conversation:
Brig Amity Illuminated
Each night during 16 Days in WA, the Brig Amity will be lit in orange, symbolising the part we all play in ending family and domestic violence. It’s a powerful visual reminder of community solidarity and hope.
Crochet Circle
Don’t forget to join our Crochet Circle, a relaxed, welcoming gathering for women who love to crochet or want to learn. Whether you're a beginner or already working on a few projects, everyone is welcome. Materials and morning tea are provided.
