Explore the incredible world of dinosaurs through fascinating facts, hands-on activities, and the latest science these school holidays!
How well do you know your dinosaurs? Did you know that the extinct animals we usually think of lived during the Mesozoic era? Visit the Discovery Centre to dig up more amazing facts about during the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods—when dinosaurs ruled the Earth!
Follow in the tracks of dinosaurs to solve our mystery puzzle, create your own dino pendant from oven-bake clay or paint a prehistoric plaster. Crack open a fossilised egg to find a mini dinosaur, marvel at our huge dinosaur model, and put on your palaeontologist lab coat to start identifying mysterious fossils and bones.

Workshops
Dino-rama | $8
24 - 17 April 2025 | 10.30am - 12pm
In this exciting hands-on workshop, kids become junior paleontologists and explore the external features of carnivorous dinosaurs whilst making their own dino-rama.
We Dig Dinos | $8
22 - 24 April 2025 | 10.30am - 12pm
In this hands-on workshop, junior palaeontologists will sift desert sands for ancient fossils, solve the giant jigsaw of dinosaur bones, identify mysterious fossils and tracks, then crack open an egg to discover a mini dinosaur hidden inside.
Participants aged 12 and under must be directly supervised by a parent or guardian.
All required materials are provided.
