Journey back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth these school holidays!
Did Tyrannosaurus Rex have feathers? Some scientists think so. Did you know the vicious velociraptor , made famous by Jurassic Park, was actually no bigger than a turkey? It had feathers too!
Visit the Discovery Centre these school holidays to dig up more amazing facts about during the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth.
Follow in the tracks of dinosaurs to solve a mystery puzzle, create your own dino pendant from oven-bake clay, and paint a prehistoric plaster. Crack open a fossilised egg to uncover the skeleton of a dinosaur, marvel at our giant dinosaur model, and put on your palaeontologist hat to identify mysterious fossils and bones.

Workshops
Digging for Dinos | $8
In this exciting hands-on workshop, kids become junior paleontologists, learning the essential skills of fossil hunting.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a small-scale terrarium inspired by the Mesozoic era, complete with ancient plants and, of course, dinosaurs!
Participants aged 12 and under must be directly supervised by a parent or guardian.
All required materials are provided.
