Pop Up Gallery – room 3
View from Above by Annie Johnson
Annie presents a series of paintings inspired by seascapes and landscapes, as viewed from above. Scenes, which may look familiar, are transformed into abstract compositions that shift your perspective of the world. She explores the versatility of encaustic wax, acrylic and watercolour, while also experimenting with 3D structures that push the boundaries of paper, wax, fabric and stitch.
Pop Up Gallery – room 4
A Stitch in Time by Artist Terri Pikora
Terri has created unique mixed media collages, combining handcrafted papers with hand stitching. Her vibrant colours, expressive mark-making and layered textures draw inspiration from her ever-growing stash of collage fodder. An avid stitcher for most of her life, Terri continues to experiment with integrating hand embroidery into her mixed media pieces as she evolves her distinctive style.
