Get down to the ground with fungi and discover how they can inspire art and maintain a healthy ecosystem these school holidays.
Join us for a fun and educational exploration of the amazing world of fungi, with two age appropriate sessions to choose from.
Children will have the chance to observe, draw, and share stories about their experiences with these fascinating organisms. They'll explore the look, smell, and feel of the fungi after gently touching the edible mushrooms in our grow box, all while learning about the role they play in maintaining healthy ecosystems.
Older children will be introduced to exciting concepts such as collaboration, mycelium, and mycorrhizal networks, building a deeper understanding of how fungi connect and sustain life beneath our feet.
