Explore fresh perspectives to contemporary environmental issues through visual art.

A visceral protest against the logging of old growth forests in the South West of Western Australia, the 1976 ‘Bunbury woodchip bombing’ is little-known outside WA, yet it was labelled one of the first acts of eco terrorism in Australia.

This thought provoking exhibition is based on the bombing of the Bunbury Woodchip Terminal in the early hours of 20 July 1976 and combines new research, ephemera, media, and imagery to present an interdisciplinary exploration of this pivotal historic event.

Independent curator and writer Dr Amanda Gardiner has created this exhibition as a result of her research journey into the event.
