Come join us to make paper puppets of native animals in this fun and creative workshop.
Young ones will get to unleash their creative side with this puppet making workshop with special guests Spare Parts Puppet Theatre!
Join us for a fun and creative morning as we learn the art of puppetry to bring to life some of the amazing animals that call the Great Southern home!
From material that usually ends up in the bin comes a menagerie of native animal paper puppets. With a few egg cartons, newspaper and a lot of crumpling, folding and sticking you will create your favorite native animals paper puppets for our Matt the Feral Cat performance later in the day, and to take home.
Matt the Feral Cat - Is a play about what shouldn't be for dinner - is a fun and interactive tale of the CATastrophic impact our feline friends can inflict on native wildlife. Thankfully there are simple ways we can protect our wildlife, while keeping cats happier and healthier too!
