See exhibited works of art, part of the Lorraine Harrison 3D Youth prize.
Launched in 2021, this emerging artist prize encourages young artists (aged 16–21) to research a theme, design and create an artwork, and exhibit it in a judged exhibition open to the public.
High school art teachers have embraced the concept, encouraging students to participate as part of their art curriculum. This year’s theme is “Transition.”
Previous annual exhibitions have showcased the impressive artistic talents of our local youth, and Transition upholds the high standard of creativity they’ve consistently demonstrated.
About
At the inaugural exhibition, the Youth Prize was officially named the Lorraine Harrison 3D Youth Prize, in honour of a founder and long-time active member of Viewpoint Inc. Viewpoint Inc. coordinates this prize, and its members are supporting youth by exhibiting Transition-themed artworks of their own.
Viewpoint also coordinates the event and gratefully acknowledges Phoenix Painting and Decorating for their generous sponsorship.
