Stories from the soil of Strawberry Hill.

During the National Trust's recent conservation and renovation works at Strawberry Hill at Barmup in Albany, archaeologists were brought in to conduct a dig. There, they found hundreds of artefacts including ceramics, slate fragments, a slate pencil, buttons, glass, nails, kitchen waste, and structural remains.

These finds, dating from the late 1800s through to the 1970s, offer a glimpse into daily life across generations at this important heritage site.

Join archaeologist Dr Sean Winter as he shares the discoveries, and what they can tell us about the people who once lived and worked at Strawberry Hill.

Presented by Dr Sean Winter (Archaeologist).
