Join Malcolm Traill, seasoned curator, local historian and writer, as he launches his book South – Stories from Albany & The South Coast of Western Australia

Malcom Traill brings together stories and rare images to paint a vibrant portrait of Albany’s layered past, its people, places and the events that have shaped the region. The book traces history from the deep cultural roots of the Menang people of the Noongar nation to Albany’s role as Western Australia’s oldest European settlement, and reflects on the unique heritage of the South Coast.

South is both a celebration and a reflection – an invitation to rediscover the unique heritage of a town at the southern edge of a vast continent.
