Everything you wanted to know about Albany's Oblong Turtle.
Join Atlanta Veld to talk about the last 18 years of her journey studying this enigmatic species of freshwater turtle. Bring your curiosity and questions.
Atlanta will walk you through the current scientific knowledge on Chelodina Oblonga - the Oblong turtle and the current threats to it's survival. She will also discuss what's been done to save the population we have and how you can help.

She is currently the Volunteer Coordinator for the Save Our Snake-necked Turtle project and is leading the crew of Albany Turtle Trackers into their fourth year of turtle nest protection work.
