Dinosaur Encounters
This large-scale puppet dinosaur performance creates a truly awesome experience for brave dinosaur fans, brought to you by the creative team from Erth Visual and Physical. Marvel at the wonder of these ancient predators with an animal demonstration of a different kind! A ‘live-animal’ handler will discuss the T-Rex’s behaviour such as foraging for food. You can also explore the world of Australian dinosaurs with the Museum’s own dino specialist, palaeontologist Dr Mikael Siversson. This talk will be aimed at families and there will be some hands on opportunity to touch fossils.
AGES: 3 years and above
COST: $5 per person (3 years and above)
DURATION: Approximately 30 minutes

Prehistoric Party
Make your way to the Discovery Centre to join the Prehistoric Party! Sculpt your own dinosaur to take home, discover a host of new prehistoric friends and get a handle on some real fossils.
