WA Museum Boola Bardip awarded Silver at the Australian Tourism Awards

WA Museum Boola Bardip has taken home Silver in the Major Tourist Attraction category at the 2025 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, held at Fremantle Prison on Friday 6 March. The national awards recognise excellence across Australia’s tourism industry, with Boola Bardip named among the country’s leading visitor attractions.

This recognition builds on a strong run for the Museum, following last year’s Bronze at the Australian Tourism Awards and a standout showing at the WA Tourism Awards, where Boola Bardip won Gold in Major Tourist Attraction for the third consecutive year, entering the Hall of Fame, alongside Silver for Cultural Tourism and Bronze for Excellence in Accessible Tourism.

To be recognised on the national stage again is a proud moment for the Museum and a credit to the teams behind every visitor experience. It speaks to the imagination, effort and care that shape the Museum day-to-day, creating memorable experiences for locals and visitors alike.

Congratulations to all finalists and winners, and thank you to Tourism Council WA and Tourism Western Australia for their continued support.

The WA Museum Boola Bardip is open every day of the year except Christmas Day and Good Friday, from 9.30am to 5pm. More information about exhibitions, events and activities is available on the Museum’s website.
