Your WA Museum Boola Bardip open longer this weekend

The WA Museum Boola Bardip will be open an additional two hours per day over the long weekend, opening at 8.30am and closing at 6pm on Saturday 25, Sunday 26 and Monday 27 January.

The public response to free general admission has been so well received, with more than 100,000 visitors in the first month, we wanted to extend the time people have to visit, allowing more people across more hours to enjoy everything the museum offers.

In addition to Otto, dinosaurs, and interactives in every gallery, we have free drop-in zones for young artists and Lego lovers and the profoundly mesmerizing Spinifex People: Art and Stories from Pila Nguru exhibition.

For those looking to be transported to one of the most spectacular and pristine landscapes in the world, we are also offering additional sessions to The Great Kimberley Wilderness virtual reality experience. This paid exhibition is highly acclaimed, receiving outstanding reviews from all who visit.

2024-25 is on track to be our busiest year since our opening, having already welcomed more than 300,000 visitors in the first seven months.

There is no limit to the number of times you can visit, if you have already been, come again. We are thrilled to see so many people enjoying our State’s flagship museum.
