This year's National Reconciliation Week theme is 'Be Brave. Make Change'.

It is a challenge to all Australians — individuals, families, communities, organisations and government — to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.

As we celebrate National Reconciliation Week 2022, we invite people to join in the sea of hands activity at the WA Maritime Museum.

Hands have been imaged by Aboriginal people from ancient times. These hands exist as traces in the landscape that reach out across time and within space to remind us of the most human connections to ancestors.

Decorate your own hand, place it on our digital screen and make a mark for reconciliation this year!
