The National Trust of Western Australia presents Infrastructure, innovation and a sustainable future for WA, by Nicole Lockwood.
2023 is a special anniversary year for the pipeline, marking 120 years of service. In recognition of this remarkable feat of engineering, the 2023 CY O'Connor lecture will be delivered on Friday 10 March by Nicole Lockwood, Chairperson of Infrastructure WA.
CY O’Connor shaped the development of key infrastructure across Western Australia. Nicole will look back at O’Connor’s innovations and legacy, then forward to the challenges and opportunities for infrastructure in our State in the 21st century.
Refreshments will be served following the lecture.
About Your Presenter
Nicole Lockwood | Chairperson of Infrastructure WA
Nicole is passionate about the creation of engaged and thriving cities. With a background in law and regional economic development, she works with Government and the private sector to develop long-term plans to secure the future prosperity and live-ability of our cities and regions.
Nicole has recently been appointed as the Strategic Advisor to the Future of Fremantle Planning Committee charged with re-imagining the port precinct beyond its industrial life.
